At Galimatias Language Training we provide our clients with the tools for successful professional communication in foreign languages.
We organise language and cultural training in Nordic, Baltic, European and Asian languages and in cross-cultural communication for business and government. We also offer translation and localisation services specialising in large technical manuals for business and industry.
Our number of active language trainers and consultants exceeds 50 in the Helsinki region with both full-time trainers and free-lancers. We offer language training in 15 cities all over Finland and have a worldwide network of translators.
Finnish courses for foreigners is one of our main fields for foreigners employed in Finland. We offer basic and advanced courses, from private tuition for businesses to training in small groups, intensive courses, advanced skills-based courses, media training and cross cultural seminars. Many of our clients are top managers and executives. We offer training in Finland, Sweden, England, Malta and elsewhere through our partner schools.
Our courses are goal-directed and individually tailored for the specific needs of our client companies. We support learning through oral and written exercises, simulated work situations and teamwork guided by our experienced language trainers. We have an extensive on-line material database. The course administration is smooth and on-line through our Extranet-service Galinet provided to our clients.
The courses are held at the clients' premises or at Galimatias' art nouveau villa built in early 1900-s and surrounded by the IT-centre of Leppävaara, Espoo near the highway to Turku and Ring 1, only 15 minutes from the centre of Helsinki.

Galimatias is a Finnish company that was established in Helsinki in 1996 by Francois Bergeron from Montreal, Canada and Therese Söderman, M.Ed. from Finland.
